A South Carolina sheriff's deputy was forced to tase his own K-9 when the dog attacked a cow while on a call.
The pair was responding to a possible burglary at a farm in Georgetown County, SC. The cow was nearby and distracted the dog who then bit the cow. The cow was spooked (who wouldn't be?) and "struck the property owner and the deputy," according to the report.
The reports of a burglary proved to be unfounded. Reports of the dog putting on a thunder jacket and being told "Go lay down!" are likely true (except that I made that last part up).
