Chloe Newman was born without her right leg and she’s been going to Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Massachusetts several times a year for prosthetic treatment ever since. So when the Barbie Fashionista #121 - a stylish doll with a prosthetic leg - came out, she wanted to give them to other kids just like her.
Thanks to help from loved ones who helped collect the dolls, the 18-year-old and her family just donated around 430 of the Barbies to the hospital. And Mattel, the company that makes Barbies, got in on the giving by donating an additional 200 dolls to Shriners.
