I decided I had to up my game and make a new veggie for Thanksgiving. Hopefully my creation is a hit and Jan likes it. Check these delicious morsels out: Kera's personal recipe below.
Kera's Holiday Green Beans
1 Large bag of all ready to cook green beans. Approximately 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 2 Tablespoons butter
First boil some water then toss in the greens beans but only for 2-3 minutes. They still need to be firm. The drop them in an ice bath to shock them. Now in a sauce pan melt your butter so it's a bit bubbly and add the walnuts. You want the nuts to be roasted to a golden brown. Next add the green beans back in, you may need a very small amount of olive oil. Toss them until they are hot but not mushy. Put entire mixture in a serving bowl then sprinkle with the Gorgonzola cheese, give it a toss and you're good to go! You may add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy !
