Here are the finished products from the carving and gutting the pumpkin to the delicious seeds! Just a Saturday night mother and daughter project.
Step 1. Remove the guts, seeds and separate.
Carve away, follow the pattern and finish the gut removal.
The glorious fresh seeds roasted to perfection, this time with a recipe for seasoning. (See below for recipe)
Finished product, Kera is a mess as usual.
- 3/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cajun seasoning
Toss all together, put on lightly sprayed cookie sheet and bake on '350 for 30 minutes. That's all there is to it! Enjoy
