When Autumn witnessed an act of racism at a KFC, the girl and her family took action.
A customer created a scene, saying, "I don't want any black man touching my food, so you have to re-cook it."
Autumn and her mom then recruited some help to do something for the chef.
A local art teacher and her class created cards, paintings and more to give to the man.
"I'm sorry that happened," said one of the cards.
Autumn and her friends were taught about racism in history, but hadn't seen it in person. "That was a long time ago and people still do that. That's really silly."
