"My name is Robert Morse and I was stopped by a deputy.... he was one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life."
One night, Deputy Matt Holman was driving in his cruiser when he spotted Robert Morse.
When Holman approached, he asked, "Hey man, I haven't seen you around here before. Do you live around here?"
Morse replied, "Officer, I had a tent out in the woods, but it got washed away in the flood."
Holman and Morse got to talking, and Morse shared that he lost his parents and sister, then got addicted to drugs and alcohol. His addiction also separated him from his still living brother and sister.
Morse asked Holman for something to read, so the officer gave him his personal copy of the Bible.
Six months later, Morse called and left Holman a touching message.
