On a cold winter day, Nick Taylor started his car, went inside his house for a few minutes, then came back out to leave.
Unfortunately, in addition to a nice, warm car, Taylor discovered a gift from a local police officer. A $128 fine. For leaving his car idling in his own driveway.
Taylor was incensed, as the officer allegedly never even attempted to knock on his door or give him a warning.
"You're putting pedestrians and public at risk," Roseville Police Chief James Berlin says. "This is purely a public safety issue."
So what do you think? Did he deserve a ticket?
