Hundreds of birds poured into a home in Torrence, California last week. The migrating birds are heading north, but ended up make a pit stop as the swirled into the chimney at the home.
The family, who had been out to dinner returned to find the house filled with starlings. "We lost count at 800," the mom said.
Animal control was called in. Their plan to shoo the flock? Leave the doors open. But they seemed like they weren't in any hurry. In fact the family stayed at a nearby hotel while the birds took their sweet time, three days, to move on.
And now, as you can imagine, the clean up begins.
