Spuds that keep mysteriously showing up on the lawn of a Massachusetts library have people scratching their heads. Even Late Show host Stephen Colbert is concerned.
During his Wednesday night episode Cobert gave a shoutout to the Wayland Free Public Library, where staff members have been finding what they described as “perfectly lovely baked russets” on the building’s front lawn for the past week.
Potatoes in front of the library in Wayland, Mass? We could see Hatfield maybe, but Wayland? Weird.
The library's original FB post is below as well as Cobert's take. You'll find the story about 5:30 in.
