Empty Chair Photo On License Sends Tennessee Woman Back to DMV

Driver's License

Nobody is ever crazy about their driver's license photo. But if anyone has a right to complain about their photo, it's Jade Dodd of Hickman County, Tennessee.

When she got her new driver's license in the mail, instead of her photo, there was a photo of an empty chair. She said, "The lady at the DMV did not really believe me when I was like hey, I need my license fixed." But once she saw the license she said, "Oh, I need my manager for this.'" In the meantime, Dodd said her coworkers are getting a kick out of it adding, "My boss thinks it's funnier than anyone. I was at work Friday and he pointed to a chair outside of his office door and was like, ‘I thought this was you.'"

Dodd posted about the mistake on her Facebook page where it was promptly shared more than 17,000 times. The DMV assures us this is the first time anything like this has ever happened - and they delivered a new license to Ms. Dodd this week.
