Quarantine Self-Care: Tips From the CDC

While we practice social distancing and battle the ever-spreading and deadly Coronavirus, times can be stressful and challenging. On top of sticking to my dedicated one-hour "Tanya time," I've also been reaching out to friends via Zoom and FaceTime and found it really helps.

Things you can do to support yourself

Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.

Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretch. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep

Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy. Walk outside with safe distance

Connect with others. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.
