Easthampton officials are issuing a joint statement condemning antisemitism after antisemitic symbols were reportedly discovered on school property.
Authorities say swastikas were found drawn with chalk on the playground of Mountain View School last week.
Superintendent Michelle Balch released a statement with Mayor Salem Derby and Jewish Federation of Western Mass. interim executive director Adam Solender yesterday stating that Easthampton is a community that cares deeply about one another and hate will not be tolerated.
The investigation is ongoing.
