U.S. Senator Ed Markey Says Return Of Israeli Hostages Is Moment Of Joy

Massachusetts U.S. Senator Ed Markey says the return of the surviving Israeli hostages to their families is a moment of joy, relief, and humanity after unimaginable suffering these past two years.

Markey says alongside the reunions, he is looking to this moment to begin the critical work of a lasting peace and two-state solution.

He says the U.S. must surge humanitarian aid to Gaza and forge a future with security for Israelis and freedom for Palestinians.
