Selena Gomez had her very first kiss on screen as the former Disney star once made a guest appearance on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, starring Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse — twins who live in a high-end Boston hotel.
Opening up to W Magazine for the "Best Performances" issue, Selena recalled the smooch as a pre-teen, remembering, "My first kiss was on TV. I was 11 or 12 years old, and I guest-starred on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, which starred Dylan and Cole Sprouse. It was with Dylan, and it was really funny because both of us were so young. We were figuring out how to kiss. I had never done it, and I was so scared."
Selena appeared on a Suite Life episode from 2006, titled, "A Midsummer's Nightmare," as a schoolmate of the boys named Gwen, who ends up kissing Dylan's character. Gomez returned to the show's spin-off, The Suite Life On Deck, years later, in a Wizards of Waverly Place crossover episode as her character Alex Russo.
Gomez also told W Magazine that her first kiss off screen was just a few years later, noting, "My real-life one would probably be with a boy named Juan, and I was 14."
Fast forward to 2025, and Gomez is up for two Golden Globes this year — Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role In Any Motion Picture for her role in Emilia Pérez and Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Television Series — Musical Or Comedy for her role in Hulu's Only Murders In The Building.
