VP To Appear At Massachusetts Fundraisers Amid Biden Re-Election Concerns

Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to attend a fund raiser on Cape Cod Saturday.

Several hundred people are expected to attend the sold out event in Provincetown at the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum.

Governor Maura Healey, Senator Ed Markey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu are among high-profile Democrats expected at the event.

Meantime, President Biden's campaign chair says he's still in the 2024 presidential race.

Jen O'Malley Dillon pushed back against reports the President was considering exiting the race.

She acknowledged the campaign's recent struggles but said one of their top priorities moving forward is going to be assuring the American people Biden is fit to serve another term.

Dillon insisted support for Biden is strong and said unity among Democrats is what will beat Donald Trump in November.

She repeatedly warned of the consequences of the former President winning a second term.
