In Conover, North Carolina, the quick action of six-year-old Quinn Hill ended up saving her mother's life.
Quinn was looking on as her mother, Jennifer, was making dinner. In a scary scene, Jennifer suddenly began to seize. Quinn realized immediately that something was wrong – and took her three-year-old brother to seek help from neighbors.
Luckily, a neighbor was home and was able to call 911 in time for first responders to arrive on time to treat Jennifer for a grand mal seizure.
Jennifer – along with the first responders – were amazed by Quinn's bravery, as this was the first time she and her brother had ever left their home without mom and dad.
While the incident was terrifying, Jennifer is now on the mend – and Quinn was awarded a certificate of recognition from the mayor during a city council ceremony, where the mayor declared February 5th as "Quinn Hill Day."
