An 85-year-old woman from Texas, was recently reunited with her long-lost bridal photos from 1959, thanks to the kind efforts of Sandra Poindexter, a retired nurse, and Donna Reichard, a diligent online researcher. The cherished photos, capturing Galbraith at age 21 in a Christian Dior gown, had vanished after a family estate sale in the late 1970s.
They resurfaced at a Virginia auction, where Poindexter, initially looking for vintage frames, purchased them for $5. After posting the find online, social media sleuths, including Reichard, pinpointed Galbraith in Texas, facilitating the return of these precious memories, which Galbraith plans to pass down to her granddaughters.
