While on his delivery route in the Chicago area, Elijah Bryant saw a group of Marist High School students taking pictures before heading off to their Homecoming dance. But the keen-eyed delivery driver noticed one student in particular needed some help with his outfit.
Bryant could see that Luke Breier‘s tie was a little off, so he approached the teen to help him get it straightened out. With expertise he learned from a fellow churchgoer, that he perfected by teaching his own son, Bryant took Breier’s tie and wrapped up a tidy double-windsor knot to get the teen looking his sharpest for the dance.
One of Breier’s friends caught the moment on video, which has now gone viral online. The teen was grateful for the help and his dad was impressed with Bryant’s kindness and expressed his gratitude too, saying, "I just want to say thank you. He made him look good for the night."
