Cora Takes Blame For Red Sox Loss To Tampa

The Rays have taken two of the first three games in their four-game set against the Red Sox.

Tampa Bay topped Boston 6-2 on Sunday at Fenway Park.

Taj Bradley earned the victory after striking out six batters while allowing two runs over five innings pitched.

Yandy Diaz, Josh Lowe and Luke Raley each recorded a pair of hits to go along with a run batted in.

The Rays are now leading the AL East at 42-and-19.

Tanner Houck was charged with the loss after allowing four runs on five hits over five innings of work.

Alex Verdugo led the way at the plate after going three for five with two doubles and a triple.

Masataka Yoshida and Rafael Devers each drove in a run for the Sox, who are now last in the division at 30-and-29.

The Red Sox play Tampa again this afternoon.
