Christmas for Children has provided countless toys to thousands of kids living in foster care. One day each year, listeners call in with pledges, and their donations are used by Massachusetts Department of Children and Families volunteers to buy presents for children who through no fault of their own cannot be with their families on Christmas day. For decades, children in foster care have received at least one brand new wrapped gift on Christmas morning. DCF social workers collect a list of gifts the children want and try to match every child with that present. You can make a difference for a child on Christmas morning.
