Kristin Cavallari & Ex Stephen Colletti Get Cozy In New Photo

"Let's go back, back to the beginning."

The year was 2004 and millions of Laguna Beach fans were invested in the future of the show's Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti. While the pair eventually parted ways, all the nostalgic feels are creeping back in because it looks like Cavallari has reconnected with Colletti in the wake of her split from ex husband Jay Cutler.

In a new picture posted to Kristin's Instagram, the Uncommon James designer is seen cuddling up to her high school sweetheart Stephen, with her arms around him in a dimly lit room. Cavallari captioned the photo, "2004 or 2020?!"

Say it with me now: STE-PHEN!

Kristin and Stephen dated in high school while on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and while their relationship didn't last, Cavallari did recall in her 2016 memoir, Balancing Heels, of dating Colletti:

"We loved hard and fought hard. My relationship with Stephen went from our own high school romance to the fodder of a hugely successful television show." She added, "Stephen was the most important thing in my life, and there was nothing I cared about more. I hated fighting with him on camera because it felt like I was airing all our dirty laundry."

Kristin had a few relationships after her breakup from Stephen, but eventually married Jay Cutler in 2013 after dating for three years. The now former couple were together for a total of ten years, seven of them married, before they split up earlier this year in April.

In a statement, they said of the breakup, "With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."
