Camila Cabello & Shawn Mendes Share Heartfelt Message to First Responders

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are staying at home together in Miami and sent messages of hope and gratitude during this global pandemic surrounding coronavirus COVID-19, during FOX presents the iHeartRadio Living Room Concert for America.

As Camila explained, "We just wanted to say to everybody, the best thing we can do right now is stay at home in order to protect our loved ones, in order to protect each other, in order to protect the people that are the most vulnerable. So let's keep staying at home, let's keep self-isolating."

Shawn added. "We also want to say thank you so much to all of the incredible brave nurses and doctors out there, working so hard every day. We're thinking about you so much. Thank you for everything you're doing."

And before a special performance with Mendes, Cabello concluded, "We love you, we're in this together. Stay safe, stay healthy. Stay kind and compassionate with yourselves and with each other, and let's pull through this together, like we always do."

Camila and Shawn then performed a never-before-done acoustic version of Cabello's Romance single "My Oh My," as she sang (even DaBaby's verse) while her beau played the guitar.

Camila has posted several messages to fans on social media during the pandemic, one being a heartfelt letter to fans explaining her upcoming tour dates are postponed. Most recently, she shared a note thanking all of the essential workers and first responders. She wrote:

"While most of us are at home right now, I know there are so many people on the front lines for us. Essential workers who are showing up to work everyday, people who have children and grandparents, loved ones with compromised health - people they are worried about too, and yet they still show up to work every day. I just can’t imagine how scary this must be for them and their families. to all the people on the front lines, from all the first responders, to doctors and nurses saving people’s lives in the hospital and at the same time risking their own lives to do so, to police and Social workers and food delivery and grocery store employees, THANK YOU for your bravery we are all eternally grateful for you."

You can support two of many charitable organizations that are helping victims and first responders during this difficult time —Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation. Every dollar raised from the COVID-19 response fund for Feeding America will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across the US and FOX Entertainment is matching the first $100,000 donated from supporters. Money raised for First Responders Children's Foundation will help support those first responder families who are enduring financial hardship due to the coronavirus outbreak.
