Madame Tussauds Unveils New Drake Wax Figure: See The Photo

Drake is now part of the Madame Tussauds family.

On Wednesday (June 19), Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled a wax figure in honor of the hip-hop heavyweight and, unlike recent figures, the 6 God received the proper treatment. Decked out in a gray OVO sweatshirt and jeans (with accompanying Rolex), the rapper appears in front of a set that mirrors his iconic "Hotline Bling" music video. "This experience, à la artist James Turrell, creates a hypnotizing visual spatial illusion with its dynamic color sequences, and heart pumping beats," a message on Madame Tussauds' website reads. "You will be able to create their very own, Insta-worthy videos alongside Champagne Papi himself…trust us, it’s all in God’s Plan."

Over at Billboard, the studio manager for the museum, Adam Morey, explained that when they were deciding which Drake look to mirror, his famed 2016 music video came to mind. "Fortunately, the viral internet sensation of one of his most iconic music videos was the driving design factor for the look and feel of the Drake figure and set at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas," Morey explained.

Meanwhile, if you want to set your sights on the real Drake in Sin City, you can check out the rapper at his XS Nightclub residency at the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Resort.
