Can you believe its been over twenty years since Britney Spears and Ryan Gosling were co-starring on "The All New Mickey Mouse Club?"

The Disney song and dance show, which aired from 1993-1995 included some of our favorites getting their big start including Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, JC Chasez, and of course Spears and Gosling.

Britney and Ryan reminisced backstage at The Ellen Degeneres Show about their time working together as young teens.

"I remember when we first got to the show they had all the kids perform for one another. I remember Christina Aguilera, and Britney performed," Gosling admitted. "I remember thinking, 'Okay, so they’re like freakishly talented.' "

He then spouted about his cast mates talents being unmatched.

"I was used to working with talented people but that was another level."

Gosling then had a hilarious response to Ellens question on what his talent was.

"I was like, 'I’m Canadian.'"

“That’s good. That’s plenty,” Ellen assured him. “That’s all you need.”

Upon their meeting backstage, both Spears and Gosling admitted that it had been a really long time since they'd seen one another.

"Neither one of us can remember, which I think is a sign that it’s been a while," Gosling said.

Gosling joined the Ellen Show on Friday to promote his new movie, First Man, which details the life of the famous astronaut, Neil Armstrong. In preparation for the role, Gosling decided to take up flying lessons, which apparently did not go as smoothly as he'd hoped for.

“Neil was flying before he could drive, so it felt like something I should learn how to do,” Gosling admitted. “If I’m honest, you always hear about celebrities flying so I thought, ‘How hard could it be?’... it’s very hard.”

The film, directed by Damien Chazelle zeros in on the intimate details of Armstrong from home life to being the first man to land on the moon.

During an interview with EW, Chazelle opened up about his approach to the movie and the telling of such an "enigmatic man."

“There’s a mystery to him,” Chazelle explains. “There’s a mystery to that event as well, even though [the moon landing] is one of the most famous events in history, and Armstrong’s one of the most famous names of all time. There’s still so much that’s unknown and so much I was surprised to learn about him and about that event and about the lead-up to that event."

He added that his intent was to give the viewers a clear idea of the importance of Armstrong's actions.

“I wanted to try to demythologize that a little bit and get out at what that endeavor — not just for Armstrong but for Janet and for the entire nation — really meant.”
