Shift To Table Games From Slots Expected

MGM Springfield is revealing new  details for its resort and casino.

The company told the  Massachusetts Gaming Commission on Thursday that the changes include  negotiating a free downtown shuttle bus with the Pioneer Valley Transit  Authority and a shift towards more table games instead of slot machines.

MGM officials reportedly asked the commission for an additional year -  until March 2019 - to commit to a market-rate housing project on Elm  Street.
