One night in January, her breast milk dried up and she had nowhere to turn. Her other 4 kids were asleep, her husband was out of town, and she'd had no luck trying to call neighbors and family. In a panic, she called 911. She thought maybe the police could watch her house while she ran to the store, but the officers went to Walmart and picked up baby formula themselves.
One of the officers shrugged off the incredible good deed saying, "We protect and serve. This is part of the serve."
