Springfield native and Marlins second baseman Isan Diaz’s home run continues to be viral. The Central High School Alum hit his first Major League home run off National League Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom in the first game of a doubleheader against the Mets. That’s exciting on its own, but his parents, who drove from Springfield to New York for the game, were being interviewed on the Marlins’ TV broadcast when it was happening.
