Local residents and fishermen recorded the seal swimming, eating and relaxing on the river bank. Experts are saying the seal appeared healthy and was behaving normally.
This seal was tagged and biologists were able to identify it as one that was rehabilitated by Mystic Aquarium. The seal arrived at Mystic as a 1-week-old pup in May 2018 and was released into the wild in January
