The New England Patriots have selected the player they hope will be their quarterback of the future.
The Patriots used the third overall pick in last night's NFL Draft to select North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye.
New England reportedly received some phone calls last night from teams interested in trading up in the draft, but the Pats stayed in the spot.
Maye was the ACC player of the year in 2023, passing for over 36 hundred yards and 24 touchdowns.
