The super-sized cicada invasion has begun in parts of the country, and soon there will be trillions of the noisy flyers coming out of their shells in biblical proportions. But rather than being grossed out by them, culinary experts encourage everyone to instead see cicadas for what they really are â delicious flying protein nuggets. Seems cicadas are an excellent food source â you just need to know how to prepare them.
