This totally normal moment turned LOL when Jennifer went in to hug Emma, who wasn’t quite ready for the embrace. The ladies awkwardly half-hugged and laughed it off.
This isn’t the first time that Stone has been caught in the middle of an awkward hug. The actress accidentally swooped in to hug La La Land director Damien Chazelle at the Golden Globes last year only he was also trying to hug his girlfriend at the same time.
"I'm not a highly choreographed person,” Stone later joked to Jimmy Kimmel.
